All 0-5 year-olds and their caregivers are welcome to join us at the Paul S. Sarbanes downtown library to share songs, rhymes, and stories together on the first four Thursdays of each month. Studies have shown that singing aloud and sharing books aloud help your child's brain development and health. This half-hour program is designed to introduce young children and their families to foundational elements of literacy. Additionally, storytime will provide an opportunity for children and their caregivers to make new connections in their community and find new ways to play together. The program is free and does not require registration.

Adopt A Dog At the Tim Kennard River Run
Please join us for the Tim Kennard River Run & event registration!
We’ll be out at Evo Public House on Saturday, 3/2, from 1-4 for registration with some adoptable dogs and gear for sale to support the animals.
Then for the big day we’ll be down at the Salisbury Bible Fellowship (1500 Court Plaza) to start the 5k and 10 mile run at 8, followed by a post race party! (The pups think the party is for them, we’re just going to let them believe it)
Would anyone like to volunteer to take a dog to Evo Saturday or to the run on Sunday? Our dogs are even allowed to walk the course (there are shortcuts for any dogs that don’t want to walk the whole thing) if anyone would be interested in doing that with a pup!
It’s a great day out for them and great exposure to help get them adopted. Please email events@wicomicohumane.org if you’re interested in volunteering. They’d love some new friends to take them out!
