Event Details
Paws to Read allows your child to read aloud to a dog for 5 - 7 minutes. A volunteer will be present during the entire session. This activity helps build reading confidence in children while they are relaxing and having fun. This fun and popular program is proven to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and it encourages the love of books in an environment full of opportunities to practice the full range of communications skills.

Children must be 4-12 years old, must be accompanied by an adult, and not have any allergies to dogs. You may bring your own books or choose chapter or picture books from the library to read. Permission slips, fill out and submit forms here, may be filled out the day of program. This program will be held the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month.

A nighttime walk in and around the Salisbury Plaza - the historic district. the haunted crossroads of Delmarva.

Feel the heavy energy and hear about the remarkable paranormal happenings in the largest city on the Delmarva Peninsula where see-through phantoms have been seen walking the streets.

Hear about the Tory Mercenary and his unfortunate skull, murders at the old Courthouse, a deceased admin assistant who is still assisting, and TWO firehouses - both said to be haunted by Salisbury firemen of the past.

Some even say that Salisbury University has a haunted building on its grounds. You’ll hear that story too, as well as the ghosts of Poplar Hill Mansion.

MEETING PLACE Unity Square on S. Division Street directly across from the Public Parking Garage and in front of the First Shore Federal building. (South Division and Camden Streets). Park in the public parking garage on Circle Ave.

NOTE - We DO NOT enter any of these properties, nor do we guarantee any ghost sightings. The tour is history and mystery-focused, but guests are welcome to bring ghost-hunting equipment and cameras. No VIDEO recording is permitted on the tour.

BRING a flashlight, comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather.

Cascading Carlos is not a clown or magician, he is a juggler. He clowns around and adds lots of illusions in his Juggling show. You will be amazed by his Juggling skills! Carlos always says “The Art of Life is Learning How to Juggle it, so let go juggle.”
