Join our Salisbury Zoo docent team! These volunteers help with education programs such as guided tours, live animal presentations, and school programs, and serve as on-site experts for our guests. They share their knowledge of animals, nature, and conservation with visitors to encourage an appreciation of wildlife and inspire conservation of our natural world.

We’ll be out at Evo Public House on Saturday, 3/2, from 1-4 for registration with some adoptable dogs and gear for sale to support the animals.
Then for the big day we’ll be down at the Salisbury Bible Fellowship (1500 Court Plaza) to start the 5k and 10 mile run at 8, followed by a post race party! (The pups think the party is for them, we’re just going to let them believe it)
Would anyone like to volunteer to take a dog to Evo Saturday or to the run on Sunday? Our dogs are even allowed to walk the course (there are shortcuts for any dogs that don’t want to walk the whole thing) if anyone would be interested in doing that with a pup!
It’s a great day out for them and great exposure to help get them adopted. Please email email@example.com if you’re interested in volunteering. They’d love some new friends to take them out!
