Tattoo Flash Fundraiser: Salisbury Zoo

Get a new tattoo and support the Salisbury Zoo! Atlantis Tattoo & Art Gallery has partnered with the Salisbury Zoo for a fundraiser that runs from Friday-Sunday, June 21-23.
Stop in to Atlantis Tattoo & Art Gallery during these dates and choose one of the tattoos from the flash sheets, ranging in price from $50-100. The price is determined based on the size and location of the tattoo, and a portion of proceeds will go back to the Salisbury Zoo Commission to support the Zoo. Walk-ins only. Atlantis' hours are noon-9 p.m. each of these days.

Children age 2 - 6 and their caregivers are invited to Mini-Montessori! Montessori play is purposeful play that mimics real-life tasks. It focuses on mindfulness during activities and focusing on the task at hand. There is no “right way” to interact in a Montessori setting. The goal is for children to independently interact and come up with their own creative solutions using trial and error.

Event Details
Paws to Read allows your child to read aloud to a dog for 5 - 7 minutes. A volunteer will be present during the entire session. This activity helps build reading confidence in children while they are relaxing and having fun. This fun and popular program is proven to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and it encourages the love of books in an environment full of opportunities to practice the full range of communications skills.

Children must be 4-12 years old, must be accompanied by an adult, and not have any allergies to dogs. You may bring your own books or choose chapter or picture books from the library to read. Permission slips, fill out and submit forms here, may be filled out the day of program. This program will be held the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month.
