Salisbury Bike partY in the 2019 Christmas Parade w/ Mayor Day!
December 1 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
NOTE: The date is being estimated and has not been officially announced by the Jaycees.
Mayor Day will be on foot and leading the Salisbury Bike partY and Shore Velocity in the 2019 Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade down East Main Street!
Ages 12 and up can ride on bikes, younger than that should be in a trailer or on a tag-along attached to your bike.
Rain Date: December 8th, 2019.
12:00pm – Meet in Downtown Salisbury by the Government Office Building (across from Brick Room) like we do for a typical bike party ride.
12:15pm – We depart Downtown together for a 3 mile bike party style ride to the Civic Center parking lot via South Blvd, Roger St, Churchill Ave, and Memorial Plaza.
12:45pm – We will arrive at the Civic Center parking lot for staging in the parade.
2:00pm – Parade starts. We will not find out our parade number until closer to the event. We may be in the staging area for several hours.
The parade route ends at East Main Street and Ward Street, we will continue straight on East Main Street, cross Route 13, and go back to where we started in Downtown Salisbury.
Please keep in mind that the parade moves at a walking pace. We will be riding very slowly and stopping frequently.
This event will not impact the December 13th, 2019 Holiday Lights Tour. Consider the parade a trial run to test out different decorations for the official December bike party ride!
