About Marlee
Marlee, aka Jonothan Dashiell is an independent recording artist from Salisbury, MD.
Marlee (Jonothan Michal Dashiell) was born October 12, 1991 to Valencia and Robert Dashiell. In Salisbury, MD he was enrolled in the Wicomico County School system until high school, where he attended Wicomico High School. In his sophmore year of high school he realized that music was where his passion lied, as it allowed him to truly express himself. From that point on he wrote and recorded himself, letting his “tunage” as he calls it, be heard locally. Marlee continues to record today with the goal of becoming an American recording artist. Some of his biggest influences include Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, Lupe Fiasco, MGMT, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Eminem, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and so many more. Marlee believes that music should know no genre.
