Minimum Wage Laws Have Changed

The $15.00 State Minimum wage is now the law of the land. The regulations, reporting requirements, and mandated penalties will be the focus of this workshop.

What You Need to Know

– There have been significant changes to the Maryland minimum wage in the 2019 legislative session
– Minimum wage rates will increase beginning January 2020
– Changes to exemptions went into effect June 1, 2019
– Restaurant with tipped employees will have changes to the way wages are reported on pay stubs
